fallfestivals
There are so many activities that occur during the fall. As the weather starts to cool down and the leaves change on the trees, several fall gatherings begin. Some festivals are centered around food while others are a mix of different activities and vendors. If you have the opportunity, check out these popular fall festivals around the U.S.

National Apple Harvest Festival (Pennsylvania)
This festival is near Gettysburg so you can make a two-for-one trip if you wanted to! The National Apple Harvest Festival is during the first two weekends of October. If you’re looking for your favorite apple treat, they’re sure to have it here!

Columbus Oktoberfest (Ohio)
You don’t have to travel all the way to Germany to experience Oktoberfest! This celebration is in the U.S. but offers German foods, beer, crafts, and a parade to give you the full experience. The events occur September 25-27.

Wellfleet Oysterfest (Massachusetts)
Are you a seafood fan? Find all of the best oysters and other seafood at this gathering in Cape Cod, October 17-18. There is even a famous oyster shucking contest that the festival goers get really into.

Harvest on the Harbor Festival (Maine)
Foodies will love this festival, from October 21-25. It is a big food and wine festival, but all locally sourced from Maine. In addition, you can enjoy the picturesque New England fall foliage.

Sonoma County Harvest Fair (California)
