Over half of adult travelers are reported to insure only themselves while traveling, leaving their children uninsured due to attempting to save on overall trip costs. Bringing kids on vacation can provide many risks and it’s important that they have the benefit of travel protection in order to cover the risks of emergency medical costs for accidents or illnesses, as well as covering any added family travel expenses resulting from delayed baggage, trip delays, or missed connections due to any possible inclement weather.
Travel Insured offers three types of Worldwide Trip Protector Plans that include “Kids Free” coverage. Families on the Worldwide Trip Protector comprehensive plan receive free coverage for all kids under 18 traveling on the same plan with a related adult paying for the same coverage. Families who purchase Trip Protector Lite or Trip Protector Lite Expanded plan receive free coverage for one child under 18 for each related adult paying for coverage on the same plan and traveling with the child.
Kids Free on Worldwide Trip Protector:
On the Worldwide Trip Protector plan, all children 17 or under are insured for free with the primary insured related/guardian adult.
Kids Free on Trip Protector Lite and Lite Expanded:
On the Trip Protector Lite and Trip Protector Lite Expanded plans, one child 17 or under is insured for free per each insured related/guardian adult.
All three types of plans include Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, Baggage Loss and Delay, among other coverage. Common Carrier Accident insurance, Renter’s Collision Insurance, and even Sports Coverage to protect against golf equipment delays or contact sports injuries while on your trip(while on your trip) are available options in all three plans.
Do not leave for a vacation this summer without insuring your kids for free!
